Jean Luc Einaudi
Jean-Luc Einaudi (1951-2014) was a self-taught French historian and activist, a former youth justice educator.
A renowned specialist in the Algerian War and in particular the massacre of October 17, 1961, he devoted his life to bringing the truth to light on the dark pages of French colonial history.
His testimony at the trial of Maurice Papon and his legal victory against him marked decisive turning points in the official recognition of the October 1961 massacre.
