« De nos frères blessés » : notre appel à soutien, en vidéo

“For Our Wounded Brothers”: Our Call for Support, in Video Form

On the centenary of Fernand Iveton's birth and the 70th anniversary of his execution on February 11, 1957, at Barberousse Prison (Algiers), the Association of Friends of Jean-Luc Einaudi and the SATORI Collective are launching an appeal to stage the play "De nos frères blessés".

Directed by Fabrice Henry and based on the novel by Joseph Andras (2016 Prix Goncourt for a first novel), the play itself was born from Jean-Luc Einaudi's investigation, "Pour l'exemple, l'affaire Fernand Iveton".

It tells the story of this European-born worker, who fought for Algeria's independence and was guillotined "to set an example".

In this video, Patrick Karl, on behalf of the association, and Fabrice Henry present the project: performances in Paris and the Île-de-France region, in Marseille, and during the week of February 11, 2027.

Individuals, associations, municipalities, elected officials: become co-producers of this project of remembrance.
